Guest guest
Hi, I am a new member to this group. I have an autistic son who is 4 years old. Not to bad, doctors say atypical autism. Very little self stimulation with his fingers. He can be considered verbal. He can name many objects and has one word sentences. He is on special education since he is 3 y/o. We live in Turkey. His lead level is 15. 3 times higher than the normal range( according to Doctors Data Lab test. Provoked with oral DMSA) We haven't yet started chelation. There is only one DAN practitioner in Turkey. He recommends chelation an HBOT for us. I saw Stan's son videos on the web and found them amazing. My sons blood B12 level is good. But the test is for cyonocobalamin not for MB12. I wonder if there are any lab test done before starting Valtrex? Ebru Mother of Efe
Guest guest
I would try Valtrex and an antifungal first, but if you have high lead levels, I would also consider doing DMSA, ca-EDTA, DMPS. The data is pointing to ca-EDTA as being the best at binding lead and if you have lead you typically have mercury. The agents have an affinity to bind to lead before mercury. You have to get the lead out before you'll have a real shot at the mercury. All that said, we didn't have to chelate to get the mercury out of my son. We just focused on antivirals and antifungal and the body worked on the rest. Some try this first and then move to chelation if they need to. We see reports of approximately double the levels of metals dumping in the urine when Valtrex and an antifungal are in place. There is no safe level of lead and mercury in a child, so I would immediately start working on it.
