Guest guest
Cade has eczema that I can keep under control but never goes away. 8 days ago I started him on Diflucan because he was getting extremely OCD, he was frustrated and pitching fits, he just wasn't himself and I thought it might be yeast. Within 2 days I saw a big change--his behavior was wonderful (I was afraid he would be horrible because of die-off). He still has some OCD things going on but they're not as severe. Anyway, I started him on Valtrex yesterday morning (250 mg 2x a day for a week, then upping it to 250 mg 3x a day). By yesterday evening, his eczema had flared up really bad. It's very red and has spread to places it's never been before. He also had splotchy red cheeks today as well (but I don't think it was eczema). This is the worst it's been in a looong time. I'm wondering if this could be related to the Valtrex or maybe from the Diflucan? He's also just getting over a slight cold so maybe that has something to do with it? Thanks for any input you can give!
