Hello ,

I am surprised U,should pose this question,..asking for the Meaning of the

Word.. " Prominent " !!

No,don't get me wrong..I meant,U,living in The English speaking country..should

have.tried and added a bit more, to the word..from Webster Dictionary..rather

than enquiring.what " PROMINENCE..or PROMINENT " , girls meant??!!

Well,as Mittal Sirjee..stated..,these r some of the selected few, of every

batch..who tend to be, The Topic of Every Boys Hostel's discussion

period,CONTINUOUSLY..for 4 and 1/2 yrs....

Be it for their looks,their behaviour, their studious nature,their friendships

with a selected few Prominent Boys..or the Number of Flings,..they have had..etc

etc..

And even today,25 yrs down the line..,when we Boys turned Men..met at the

Reunion..,we had many of them asking.. " Aare..woh kahan gayee..,Uska kya

hua. " .etc etc..in hushed hushed tone.

It is due to such Prominence..that..we r having a tough

time..finding..Non-Prominent Ladies..of our group..this reunion...

Sadly,no one noticed their presence...nor..their absence..all these yrs.

Well

This phenonmenon u girls will never understand (or pretend that you dont

understand). Well all guys keep some girls(in the vicinity) in the " prominent

girls " category and they comprise of those girls who they like (or sometimes

STRONGLY dislike) but who are more articulate, dress up more sensibly in a more

feminine (sometimes tomboyish) way, have pleasing mannerisms(even if the male

next to them is behaving in a slightly clumsy boyish manner). I guess the word

'charming' shud sum it up.

Well to everybody his own; so, I guess that answers ur query.
