Guest guest
Welcome Annie! Your definitely in the right group. There are many here that suffer from the same and as you get to know us all better you will know that I am the sworn vitamin woman LOL I have suffered from severe panic attacks for years however when I started myself on a high-potency vitamin regimen, within a couple of weeks they all stopped. I took 2000 mg of powered vitamin C a day with a Mega Multi Vitamin for Woman in addition to high-potency B complex 150 they were called. I think I bought them at GNC stores. That in conjunction with what you are already doing helps to put your body back into working order again. But know that I am just one of them that swear by your vitamins. Hugs...Nola -- Hi, I'm new - my introduction My name is Annie and I am going through a stressful time right now. I have been having pretty constant anxiety and some panic attacks over the past three weeks. These have been somewhat mitigated during the past four days due to a SSRI medication and an anti-anxiety medication. All of this started as a result of an episode of atrial fibrillation. On Thursday I begin seeing a psychologist which I am optimistic about. Discussions with my sister have helped me see that I need to make some drastic changes to my self-talk. I am generally very hard on myself and feel guilty about things I have no control over. I know this is unhealthy and want to stop. I am also convinced that I must eat healthier. I have cut out sugar and white refined flour wherever possible. I am eating fruits and vegetables and lean meats and fish. I am drinking at least eight glasses of water each day. Exercise is the next thing I am adding - starting with walking or slow exercise bike riding. My goal is to do some exercise every day, whether it is aerobic or yoga. I need some positive affirmations to use to support these changes. I will appreciate any input. Annie
