Guest guest
Hi, I have BI and minimal ACM, without surgery yet. I elected to first undergo L4-S1 laminectomies for central canal stenosis and am 8 days postop. This is my first-ever surgery. Having dealt with BI/ACM for years, I guess I thought back surgery would be a cake walk in comparison. However, I feel lousy--I'm nauseated, lethargic, off- balance, weak and having air hunger, in addition to hip pain. I'm supposed to be walking 1-2 miles daily by this Wednesday and back to work next Friday, but there's no way I'll meet those goals. I weaned off the Percocet (TOXIC!) at day #5 and am taking only Tylenol. I'm eating a fabulously healthy diet and following doc's directions to a T. I'm assuming the BI is making the recovery a bit harder. Any input in regards to generalized surgical recovery would be just the thing to perk me up. Thanks,
