Guest guest
Hi , Thanks for the informative post and I loved the recap of Poindexter's illustrious career. May I quote you on it? Your comments may have more clarity, I was seeking to answer Alice rapidly at the end of a very long work week which extended into today. Herein, I think it is the same ... it is simply taking information out of the hands of corporations and placing it squarely in the hands of the government. The problem is that corporations, illegal and immoral and nefarious as they may be, do not have facist police powers ... And as Wotan arises and thanatos reigns in the looting of antiquities, a yin function of matriarchal energies, how will the energies find an outlet which is less destructive? Back to the TIA: <<The move is likely to touch off strong objections from many Democrats and even some Republicans in Congress who believe that the Patriot Act, as the legislation that grew out of the attacks is known, has already given the government too much power to spy on Americans.>> This law which IS Total Information Awareness is set to expire at sunset at the end of 2005. http://www.commondreams.org/headlines03/0409-01.htm Sorry to disagree but that is the same. Yes, there are many permutations of this, I am aware of that, I pull credit on people any time I do financing, public, private or otherwise. It is the landmark legislation which allows the government to track people, conduct surveillance, allow eavesdropping ... Napoleon, paranoid as he was, would have had a ball with this one. Speaking of which, he had PL in Capricorn ... a rather frightening image for the U.S.'s first pluto return .. love, ~ bo ~
