Guest guest
Yes, I have tons of them. I use a few of the pint one but mostly the one quart and half gallon ones.
Guest guest
It seems that wide-mouth quart sized mason jars are the most useful. Is this true in other's experience? Brandt
Guest guest
Also, the " Ball " jars with the small mouth will fit onto an Osterizer blender for easy blending. > It seems that wide-mouth quart sized mason jars are the most useful. > Is this true in other's experience? > > Brandt
Guest guest
At school they make infusions and oils with a pound of herb at a time in gallon jars. They buy Everclear by the case. I can't imagine having that much raw product waiting on hand for an illness to present itself and be addressed. I've been using mason jars. They come in various sizes up to a quart. I get mine at local hardware stores where they sell other canning supplies. My herbal med. teacher tells me the lids will eventually rust and suggested I find a source for polyseal lids. It was a suggestion with an added comment that her local source of these went out of business last year. For distribution of the herbals, I live within walking distance of this company's brick and mortar. <www.sciplus.com> Which I guess would be ok for me if all I need is a couple at a time. My husband ran some searches and came up with these folks <http://www.specialtybottle.com/> When I get ready to order for anyone on the internet I imagine I'll ask around school and local community to see if anyone else is ready to order and combine our orders to get a better price and to share costs of shipping.
