Rashes like cuts made with Knife or sharp nails

Hi Parents,

We just started giving our son Diflucan for last one week at night

(3ml) and then in addition started given Valtrex 3 days back. We

started with 1/2 pill twice a day and today we gave him 1 pill twice

a day. My son is 6.5yr old and weighs 46lbs. Today in the afternoon

after giving our son a bath we noticed a huge rash in his back, it

was like 4-5 lines across his back as if they have been made with

scratching nails or a knife. The scratches were 1/2 inch apart and

were 7-8 inches long. They were quite prominent during the shower,

however after few hours they started dissappearing or getting lighter

in color. I was thinking maybe my son was detoxing due to the steam

in the shower.

Also we have started giving our son Detoximin (375 mg) every night

for the last two nights.

Appreciate if anyone can let us know if this is something we should

expect. I have sent the pictures of the rash marks to our doctor to

get his perspective too.
