Guest guest
New experiences are opportunities to learn.†Each new experience opens doors to new possibilities. Yes, just the thought of stepping out of your comfort zone can be scary. But, it can also be extremely rewarding. Just think, waiting for you are untapped skills, fresh knowledge, new relationships and so much more. If you face setbacks, as we all do occasionally, avoid thinking of them as failures. Instead, embrace the opportunity for growth and learning and keep forging ahead. As you tread new paths and reach new horizons, your self-confidence will skyrocket. You’ll no longer dread new experiences, but look forward to them with enthusiasm. Come on! Throw your fear of failure out the window. Jump in feet first and reap the personal rewards of learning something new! Jane YOUR WORST ENEMY! Your words, your dreams, and your thoughts have power to create conditions in your life. What you speak about, you can bring about. If you keep saying you can't stand your job, you might lose your job. If you keep saying you can't stand your body, your body can become sick. If you keep saying that you are sick or ill, guess what you will stay sick or ill. If you keep saying you can't stand your car, your car could be stolen or just stop operating. If you keep saying you're broke, guess what? You'll always be broke. If you keep saying you can't trust a man or trust a woman, you will always find someone in your life to hurt and betray you. If you keep saying you can't find a job, you will remain unemployed. If you keep saying you can't find someone to love you or believe in you. Your very thought will attract more experiences to confirm your beliefs. Thanks for sharing Martie What do you really want? So much of our pain and sorrow comes from seeking fulfillment in places and ways in which it is not possible. We can never get enough of that which we don’t really want in the first place. As such, despair comes not from an inability to get what we go after, but rather from going after that which we don’t want, and failing to pursue that which would truly bring fulfillment. Though a nutritional deficiency will make you hungry, it won’t be corrected by eating junk food, no matter how much of it you eat. Emotional pain cannot be solved by drugs and alcohol. And an emptiness in your life, cannot be filled by just anything that comes along. It takes effort to look beyond the superficial, and to discover what is truly meaningful in your life. Yet the reward is great, because it sets you free from the struggle and pain associated with things you don’t really want anyway.
