Bank problems

The contractor issues post reminded me of my own

current bank problems. I went out to eat with some

friends at a restaraunt called Mythos on Universal

property. I'm a Universal employee, so I get a

discount. We had to include all 3 checks together and

I had to pay for it so my discount could apply to all

of them... they gave me cash for their shares. I only

had $49 in my account before we went. The bill came

to $42. I paid and left.

I checked my bank statement later and found myself

nearly $80 in the hole. I cried. Then my parents

yelled at me for being irresponsible (LOVE visitng

them, love it *rolls eyes*), while I kept insisting I

didn't know how it happened. So I called the bank.

As it turns out, Mythos charged me twice, once for $35

and once for $49, neither amount was correct, and both

charges together overdrew me quite thoroughly, so I

got the nice overdraft fee on top of it.

Lovely.

Now I just have to wait for Mythos to pull all their

records and talk to Wachovia before I can HOPEFULLY

get my money straightened out!
