Guest guest
Having battled CFS for 23 years with the waxing/waning 15 plus symptoms (most difficult being neurological with intense brain-fog, inability to do math, dizzy, disoriented, and others such as prostatitis,IBS,GERD,TMJ,fatigue of course), this year brings a new challenge. I've managed to work, stressful job, especially when my mental abilities seem to decline each year. I guess I'm getting anxiety/depression. I wake each night at 2am, constantly worrying about my ability to do my job(on the edge of losing it all/health insurance etc. I've tried Pristiq and Xanax this year and these have not helped. I seem paralyzed with fear, tight chest, can't breath in deep, have a blank-state of mind when it comes to my job - don't remember how to do it! Is this part of the disease process of CFS, or something all together different. I live in Austin,TX - no CFS Doctors around. My primary care said 3-.25 Xanax/day, and 30 mg Cymbalta (no relief from Xanax, and too early to tell from Cymbalta - on day 6 now. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated - help!
