Yes it is Remicade. I just learned this now. I do learn something new everyday.

There are new warning labels on Remicade saying, it can cause death.

How much more blunt can they be.LOL

Infliximab

Remicade (brand name for Infliximab) works by modifying TNF-Alpha.

It just so happens that it is believed that your body needs this to

fight cancer. This does not mean you will get cancer or Lymphoma.

People taking Infliximab are 3 to 6 times (depending on who you

believe) more likely to get Lymphoma as compared to the general

population. How Infliximab works is not new and this potential has

been known since it came out about 7 years ago. There is some

discussion going on, and rightly so, that the patients taking

Infliximab, in most cases, are already higher risk for cancer to

begin with. So how do you sort out the one's that would of got

cancer anyway from the one's that got it purely due to taking

Infliximab? Interesting delima. I have a concern because I have

been on Remicade for almost 3 years now. Personally, given the

disease and suffering I have had to deal with, I took that risk. As

we all know, there are other contributing factors that either promote

or help prevent cancer.
