Guest guest
I am never going back there again. He told me to completely go off my Prozac. I tried to tell him that I did that once before but the fatigue tripled from my illness. What kind of a doc tells his patient to completely go off Prozac. I can't function. He didn't even pay attetion to my medical folder. He tried to say I HAVE to an antibiotic--Cipro. But he didn't give me a prescription and I wasn't about to take it anyways. I TRIED to explain to him that for 10 years I always get fevers because of my illness. So in other words, according to him, I should be taking antibiotics all the time? NOT!!! I don't trust docs and that's why we need to do our own reseach. That's why we have this support group so we can get help. Lou
Guest guest
EXACTLY!!! This has been my whole point about post about coming off your medications or not taking them at all!! You made a great point - who with any medical knowledge who tell someone that!!! That what I have been trying to say!!! Dont go back, that doc need to learn patient relation skillss and how to read charts, as well as staying up to date with current information to be up on new diseases and how they work and how they are treated. This guy is clueless. PLEASE, see a specialist who can refer you to other docs when you need it that GET IT. Dr.
