Guest guest
Hi Fragrance Im not a doc or anything medical, I just hunt around online for info I need to help myself, but from reading there are many possible causes for everything so its all trial and error, but in normal easier bruising, it is usually lack of vitamin C, the blood vessels weaken easily and the blood leaking out under skin is what we see as the bruise, You would need to look at strengthening the capilliary and blood vessel walls. Vitamin C is a main one but not the only nutrient needed for strong vessels so you will need to google to find it all out. Meantime, you could try some vitamin C with bioflavonoids in them and increase fruit and veg intake. its water soluble, which means you pee it out quickly, so if you take any, take smaller amounts a few times rather than a large one once. Also, if you take vit c with painkillers or other supplements etc it makes them work better for it so you get most benefit from it As for q10, if you read it up you will find it is essential to life. We make it naturally in our body, but as we age we make less of it. For myself, if I stop taking it my heart lets me know by playing up, that is not because of addiction but because the q10 is low again. It works best if you take a little fat with it, As for CRP and ESR, if you have inflammation from any cause they will be higher because they are markers or pointers to show somethings up. The rise does not tell you what problem or causes is just that somethings not right somewhere. I expect it is the higher the number the more serious the problem. But it does thicken blood, same as excess homocysteine and too much iron in the blood. When I take supplements to lower mine, Im not curing the problem causing it, Im relieving the symptoms the thick bloods giving me, thats all, but it also lowers the chance of stroke and heart attack because if bloods thick it clots easier and risk is higher, so in that way its a big help, but still not treating the underlying cause. Lycopene decreases CRP. You can do that by having a glass of tomato juice daily. The cooked not raw type. Or cook some tomatoes or tom soup and eat. Supplements are expensive for them. Hope this is of some hel[ Carole > > > Carole, > > My blood starts to bruise, I can see small blood spot under the skin, > but just 1, or 2 spots there...Why is that? Guest guest
Hi Fragrance have you got a heart problem as well as thyroid one? Do you take warfarin or anything like that? Im wondering what you would want the q10 to do for you When my atrial fibrillation started I took 30mg q10 then upped from there until I knew i hit the right dose, and for me 90mg is all I need to keep me stable. I work on the principle of having what I need not more than I need, that way I can up again if I get worse later as I age or whatever. You need to investigate all this for yourself before deciding on taking anything, because even some food supplements can interact and cause serious problems just like medications can, so you can see whats safe for you and your meds and conditions if you look into it yourself. What helps me could hurt you and vice versa.
