Guest guest
Hi, I'm and I am new to this groug and was recently diagnosed with " mild " chiari malformation. My neurologist does not want to talk to me about the diagnosis. Instead he wants to put me on different drugs and put me through tons of tests from my neck to my a## when I know what needs to be fixed is in my head! I had a sleep deprived eeg today for the trouble with words cause he wants to rule out seizures. Next week I have a colonoscopy and endoscopy for stomach and intestinal problems. A nerve function test the week after on my arms and legs for tingling in my hands and feet. And if all those are negative then he plans to do a spinal tap to rule out infection. He said chiari would be last resort. My herniation was too small to correlate with my symptoms. I told him that I called tci and that they would see me but he wants to complete all these tests first cause he said they would ask for them. He thinks I would be wasting their time cause I barely even have it. How do I get there. Can I just send in the paperwork and scedule an appointment? I can't take this pain anymore. Sorry this is so long. . --------------------------------- Looking for last minute shopping deals? Find them fast with Yahoo! Search.
