Guest guest Posted March 28, 2008 Report Share Posted March 28, 2008 I just wanted to say hi to everyone and I am glad that I found this group. So many of my questions have been answered. Last Friday I went to Nuero doc and she said I have CM1 and SM. She said I needed to go see a surgeon so I did on Monday. He said I need surgery immediately. I kind of feel like he was pressuring me so I have an appt with a different NS on next Wed. I have also started the paperwork for TCI because the NS's in this area do not have alot of experience with CM1. I am scared to death and I feel like family, friends and co workers don't understand what I'm going through. I live in Virginia Beach so if anyone has a NS in the Hampton Roads area they have seen who is experienced with this please let me know. I am willing to travel if it's worth it. Any advice that anyone has would be greatly appreciated as well. This is all so new to me. I am in alot of pain and just want to get some relief asap! Thanks for letting me vent a little!
