Guest guest Posted January 5, 2005 Report Share Posted January 5, 2005 Hi everyone, I just wanted to encourage anyone who hasn't already done so, to make your hotel reservations ASAP. According to the report I just got from the hotel, there are only 27 room nights left in our block (NIGHTS, not rooms, & since the average attendee is staying 3-4 nights each, that translates to not very many rooms available!) Even though we did increase our room block, based on the report, we are rapidly approaching the sell-out point; once that's reached, the hotel will continue to honor the conference room rate ONLY if there are still rooms available in the hotel & since we had most of it blocked to begin with, there isn't much wiggle room. We have made some preliminary inquiries into an overflow hotel & will formalize that, if needed, so please let me know if you do encounter "Sorry, we're completely sold out" when you try to book a room. As a reminder, we only have 45 tickets for the taping of "King of Queens" for Friday night, February 18, 2005, & those will also be on a first come, first served basis, so if you ( & your guest over 16 years old) wish to attend, you should sign up for that ASAP, as well.
