Guest guest
Dear Brigette, Good for you! It's been 36 years and I have not given up looking for a treatment that works. Also, life with EN isn't that horrible. You get to be perfectly normal at times and it does give you a great reason to excuse yourself from activities you don't want to participate in. I am trying to make you smile, but honestly there is a lot of truth in it. I think I have become more spiritual because of EN as I know I often catch myself feeling so happy just to walk down the street without pain when I'm enjoying a remission. Appreciation of the little joys in life make such a difference. I feel sorry for those who don't know what I'm talking about. And as you said having idiopathic EN means you don't have the other problems like TB or lupus etc. Keep us posted on what your dr. tells you. Guest guest
, I've always been a happy person. With the exception of most of my first marriage. That lasted 4 yrs. Did however get to very beautiful girls out of the deal. My best friends. I did grow up with them! Was a young mother. Probably worked out for the best. Don't know if I could do it now. I'll make a wanderful grandmother!!!!!!!!!! Just hope they wait a while. Well they still think I need to grow up.... But they way I feel some days if I can't laugh and act silly then all thats left it sadness. I don't like it when I'm sad, therefore, I'm SILLY. At home and work. Sometimes thats what gets me through the day. It also spreads. Where I work we get along great. Even if someone is sad. Silly spreads. I do get depressed, but so does the average person. It's how we deal. Again, I'll be silly. Brigette > > Dear Brigette, > > Good for you! It's been 36 years and I have not given up looking for a > treatment that works. Guest guest
Dear Brigette, Silly works for me too! Both the hubby and I are always laughing and joking. A friend's son (whom we were babysitting) once said to us " Are you guys always so happy? " We just looked at each other and laughed. Well, yeah! Most of the time! I had an awful first boyfriend--stick with it 5 awful years. So I know the difference. I truly lucked out when I met Steve the first day I arrived in CA....We've been having fun ever since--going on 32 years now. We've worked together all those years too--mostly self employed.
