Horticultural Vinegar as weed killer

20% Horticultural Vinegar will kill weeds. You can make a simple swiping device

with PVC and

an old cotton sock. Stuff the sock with absobent material, attach it to the end

of a PVC pipe

and pour some of the vinegar in. It is very strong and gives me a headache if I

breathe too

much of the fumes so use it outside. I buy it from an organic gardening

supplier. It is not

cheap like pickling or ordinary household white distilled vinegar but these are

only 5% and

9%. I think someone told me it works best on broad leaf weeds, they are faster

growing. But I

have also poured it on grass growing between stones in our walk ways.
