“We see the world as we are.†Remember the last bad day you had? Chances are you ended up in a grumpy mood and feeling fed up. Even though the sun may have been shining or people all around you were happy and laughing – you were miserable, which meant the day was bad no matter how you looked at it. Unfortunately, this same thinking can color life itself. If you’re facing hardship, you may feel life holds no hope. If you’re lonely, you may decide the world is an unfriendly place. Resolve to change this thinking pattern, now! If you’re depressed, think of the excitement that life offers. If you feel stressed look for opportunities with optimism in your heart. If you’re lonely, realize the world is full of friendly people – and go out and meet them. By choosing to see the joy in the way things are, you’ll soon feel the joy yourself! ©Jane

Fear is worrying about all the different tomorrows. Fear is worrying about the bad days that may or may not come, and even worrying about the good ones because you know that they can’t last. You can dream of the future, plan for it – those are good things to do – but you can’t control all the tomorrows… To be afraid is to live among all the frightening tomorrows as if they were certain to happen. To be courageous is to close off all those tomorrows and devote your attention and energy to the one today that is the only thing you ever experience with certainty.

Thanks Marcella

In the doing Make the effort, make it your best, and then make another. Fulfillment is in the doing. Planning is helpful, watching what others do is instructive, learning is useful, and connecting with your dream is inspiring. Making the effort ties it all together and gets the job done. If you’re discouraged or frustrated, disillusioned, unhappy or filled with doubt, get going and get busy. Making the effort will make the difference. If you’re worried that you’ll encounter too many problems, stop worrying. There will be plenty of problems, and you can create great value by diligently working your way through each one of them. Don’t waste your time wishing that you had more money or time or resources to work with. You have more than enough to get started, and the more you do the more you’ll be able to do. Achievement is in the doing, satisfaction is in the doing, and real, lasting fulfillment is in the doing. So go ahead, right now, and get busy doing. Ralph Marston
