Guest guest
I teach in a very old and terribly poor maintained building. Does anyone have any information that would show that mold or asbestos can make FM worse or flare? The asbestos is directly above the dropped ceiling in my classroom. The mold is visible. Guest guest
Asbestos is only a problem if it is airborn. As long as the material is not flakeing off it will not present a problem. They should be checking the pipes and coating them to keep the asbestos in place.
Guest guest
I would love to know the answer to that! I work in a n home that is absolutely beautiful, but several of us are convinced that it is making us sick!! While I worked there and lived in an old home, my symptoms were at their worst! No visible mold in my office but there was in my basement (which prompted the move), and there is asbestos in the attic (right above where I sit). They had someone remove the asbestos from the rest of the building, however, I question his qualification as he wore NO protective gear and our old Executive Director was notorious for hiring unqualified people to cut costs. Guest guest
If I wast there I would grab a ladder and take a look.......If the asbestos was not removed properly then he could be held liable. Of course you acan call someone in for and inspection... ________________________________ I would love to know the answer to that!
