Guest guest
, I sympathize with you. Seems like there are always changes -- always. Hey, is it your birthday this coming Sunday or another ?! I apologize but I'm not sure which this is. Thanks Much! I met the other ladies who work in another resort under our company as well, one lady was so loud, I just happened to reconise her from somewhere she sat behind me, I asked her if her kids went to the same Primary school as mine, she said yes. she has a daughter My son's age 19. Im glad I work with the ladies I do, than some of those, my ones seem more friendlier & in their appartments they have heaps of Bunk beds to make & are very dangerous when making them, she told the new boss, the way they have to stand on ledges or chairs to make them. they have cut down on our pays & will be making us permanent part time which is good, as u get sick pay & hol pay & a min of 10hrs a wk, even if they get us to work in another one of their resorts when it is really quiet or they will put you on casual. What we dont like is they've cut down the room times, 1 bedroom is still 1 hr, 2 bed now 1 1/2 hrs 3 bedroom is now 2 hrs 15 mins, so were not happy with this. I'm going to more STRESSED NOW!! We also want to work in pairs as much as we can to get thru the place quicker, plus also for safety reasons. In the busy periods you do anyway. If a room is trashed or really bad we have to let them know before we touch it so they can assess it & charge them. Also as this will take us longer. We have orientation with new people nxt Tues. my main supervisor has her pay cut & has to do some cleaning of the rooms too. so shes not happy.
