Just by eating the slightly-more-yang grains (short-grain rice, or millet, for example)....or cooking things longer, on lower heat....or eating more-yang veggies....or adjusting the ratio of grains to veggies....or doing more physical activity, spending more time in the sun, etc.... Just remember, the closer to the center of the teeter-totter, the easier it is to balance. The farther we go toward either extreme, the more extreme will be the reaction of the body, in the opposite direction.... _||_ d b ___________________________________ Don Beckett Reiki, Johrei, Macrobiotics: POWER TOOLS http://johreiki.net/ -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Guest guest
-so I should cook veggies longer? hm just as I was trying the other way around.......... I did make millet and that's what I'm about to have with my miso right now along with collards, kale, carrots, celery root and daikon. what are more yang veggies? I have a really difficult time with the whole yin yang thing. Actually, anyone know of any good books to really explain it all well? I don't know why it confuses me so............
