Guest guest
Dear Jo, Here is a good link on EN. It doesn't specify night sweats as a symptom. I have never had sweats except the one time after my 18 days of high fever (probably unrelated to EN) broke. I am nearly 57 and still waiting for menopause. No night sweats yet or any symptoms to speak of. http://www.betterhealth.vic.gov.au/bhcv2/bhcarticles.nsf/pages/Erythema_nodosum?\ open I just thought of this new theory, so I haven't spoken to my dr. about it yet. I haven't got a specialist for EN. I have had EN for 36 years and know how to treat myself since I do not need meds to go into remission. I will indeed mention it to my ob/gyn when I next see him. He says he has learned more about EN from me than he ever knew ;-) Have a Good night, Everyone! Love,
Guest guest
Dear Jo, Well I did have the 3 months of drenching night sweats when I recovered from the 18 days of high fever, so I do know a bit of what that's like. That was 27 yars ago. I imagine once I hit menopause I will get the sweats again :-( I Have no idea if I ever will stop getting EN flare ups. I do go into remissions, so it isn't like a steady diet of EN. Many people get only one bout of EN, but there are the chronic cases like us who go in and out of remission. I still have hopes of solving the EN puzzle in my lifetime.
