Finally some diagnosis...

Fibromyalgia and Sjogren's....my ana SSA and SSB are positive along

with elevated CRP and SED Rates...

I've been testing RA and ANA for many years because I have had one

illness after another including chronic sinusitis for all my life...

Seems like I might have a day or so feeling good then bam, I can

barely move and can't get enough rest.

I used to work out everyday... but seems like every three weeks or

so..I'd be taking the day off or the week or two off to get overy

what I had gotten, so now I just consider a gym or DR office another

place to get germs...

As it turns out, my sinusitis was a little more severe....I had a

bone infection in my facial bone and upper jaw.. nasty one,, spent

several courses on IV antibiotcs...and am missing now all my upper

left teeth at 38.. I am 41 one.

Everytime I would get tested for allergies, EVERY SINGLE ONE would

come back positive. and the normal Zyrtec and Claritin helped but not

much.

In my late 20's I started getting arthritis and alot of swelling and

stiffness in my joints...and my muscles are in spasm most of the

time...I am sure you all know and can relate...

happy to have a DX so I can get treated now!! hopefully this will

improve my quality of life and I can get back to skiing a bit... how

I loved to smile and ski... can't do either now.

warm regards,

Ann

i would be very careful about skiing-aerobic exercising is very bad for us. In

1991, I was doing aerobic exercising and I relapsed and spent the next year

bedridden-just as sick as I was in 1977 when I contracted CFIDS/ME. Also, i had

13 teeth extracted last year and tried wearing partials but was unable to due to

severe jaw pain-am going to try the flexible partials (made by Valplast) to see

if I can tolerate them. Can understand all of the life's losses that go along

with CFIDS-including loosing teeth-people used to tell me what a nice smile I

had-gone now. and Certainly no more aerobic exercise for me-except for a brief

dog walk daily that I can seem to tolerate-but had to work up to it.   diane
