Inger, you stated:

" Later, in my 20's, I started recording all my dreams,

and also moon phase, menstural cycle and my mental,

emotional and physical state each day to see if they really

coincided with my bio-rhythms (which my mother had helped

me calculate). This regimen I kept up for many years, as

faithfully as if I had been a real scientist. I always found myself

a rather interesting specimen to study (and still do). :-) "

Do you calculate your bio-rhythms to three or four cycles?

Some charts are limited to the Physical-Emotional-Mental

(23-28-33 day) cycles, whereas others go on to the Intuitive

(38 day) cycle. I wonder if Aspergians have a fifth cycle, an

aspie cycle (of 43 days?).

Three. Or used to. I gave that one up too. And now I've forgotten how to

calulate from where I left off.

Found them to be surprisingly accurate when I kept track of them, though.

Hmm, interesting thought, On what do you base this Aspergian thing?

Inger, you asked:

" On what do you base this Aspergian thing? "

The number is just a random number, not based

on anything (hence the question mark after the number);

but the idea is based on Aspergians or Aspies never

being in " sync " with the neuro-typical world, even if

we have similar physical, emotional, mental, and intuitive

cycles.

Having this fifth cycle (which would be dormant

to those outside of the spectrum, or very mild to the

" atypical " spectrum individuals) would show how we

differ in our approach to everyday living, as well as the

long-term effects of having such a cycle. Perhaps we

are akin to Alvin Toffler's " The Fifth Wave " , by nature...

I see! Very intereteing observation!

I'm very in sync with the moon though. Especially my sleep cycle. Which is a

bit of a niucance when most activities are planned after the sun.

Not familiar with that one.

All this talk of biorhythms reminds me of when I became fascinated by them

around age 11 or 12. (I think the trigger was that my father's parents had

both died and he was sitting down doing some math and I asked him what he

was doing. He told me he was calculating their biorhythms to see where they

were when they died. Intriguingly, both my grandparents had been on a

" triple critical " day on the day of their death.)

Well, I was so fascinated by it, that I calculated my biorhythm and made

the sine wave chart of it .... for the next five years!!! It was a

monstrously long piece of paper, created by taping pages together, and I

taped it up on the walls of my room, encircling the whole room. I probably

would have charted out the rest of my life, but that's where I ran into the

door and decided to stop rather than make a cut and continue the charts

across the door.

I'd be interested to know, too.

I seem to have a 31 day cycle rather than a 28 cycle. I even used to bleed

every 31 days, like clockwork, before I turned that off with pills.
