Tried & True Formula for Achieving Goals

by Jane

“Do you set goals then fail to achieve them?†Too many failed attempts may lead to frustration. Eventually, you either stop setting goals or surrender to the failures that overcome you. Overtime, avoiding disappointment becomes easier than setting new goals, altogether. Your heart wonders, what’s the use in trying? Let your next goal be different. Before you start, break your ultimate goal into smaller goals. This way you’re placing your expectations of success on your immediate goal, rather than the whole project. By breaking down your goal in to bite size pieces, the whole can be achieved much more easily. With each milestone, you feel energized and motivated to keep on going. Instead of being stressed, frustrated, and disappointed, you can now feel good, because you have a doable method to achieve your goals that works like magic!

YOU CAN MAKE IT IF YOU TRY

You can't be beaten at anything, until you quit in your own mind. There is no failure except in your not trying. There is no defeat except from within.

You have no really insurmountable barrier exceptyour own inherent weakness of purpose. The odds are with you if you keep on trying.

Consider yourself on a very long journey.Sustain your personal vision of success until you achieve it.In the end, you can only fail if you don't try.

Winning isn't everything, but wanting to is.Success is a road that's paved with perseverance.

No longer impossible The only way impossible can continue to be impossible is if nothing changes. And as is clearly obvious, life is always changing with every passing moment. The concept of impossible is a static concept. Yet you are a dynamic force and as such, impossible does not really apply. Yes, something may indeed be impossible at the moment. It won’t stay impossible for long. How many good and fulfilling things have you given up on because they once were impossible? Perhaps it’s time to consider them again. Whatever you’re able to achieve, comes from the realm of what is possible. And then, every achievement makes even more things possible. Clearly focus your thoughts on the most wonderful outcome you can envision, and get yourself moving to make it happen. If it’s not possible now, it will be very soon. Ralph Marston
