Guest guest
Hey BJ - do your shakes come out lumpy with the little seeds not quite ground? I just tried making hemp milk today (no fruit, just shelled hemp seed, water and a little vanilla and agave) but it didn't blend well... I don't have a real blender though, just a food processor but I would think it's the same. On a side note, got a voice mail from my new doc today saying my retest for parasites came up negative... *interesting*... wonder if I never had the bloody thing! All those antibiotics.. I should have gotten a second opinion long ago (though from whom I dont' know). She says I'm hypo too, haven't been hypo in quite a while, so we'll need to adjust my meds. Wonder if it's the iron I've been taking or maybe the harsh New York winter. ~ > > , > > I keep hemp protein on hand. I usually make me a shake everyday. Guest guest
, I buy the organic hemp protein powder so I don't have seeds to grind or blend. The kind I have, currently, on hand is Living Harvest Organic Hemp Protein (cold milled protein powder from raw hemp seeds). Its got 13 gms of protein and 9 gms of fiber per serving along with 600 mg of Omega 3. I've never tried making the milk, but if you have a recipe I'll try it to see how it turns out. Actually, I could drink it like milk instead of a smoothie for something different. Bj > > > > , > > > > I keep hemp protein on hand. I usually make me a shake everyday.
