Guest guest
The pollen is welcoming you From: asthma [mailto:asthma ] On Behalf Of FFTaz71@...Sent: Friday, March 13, 2009 10:55 AMTo: asthma Subject: pollen...amazing I never realized exactly how much pollen effects me! I had a peak flow meter in NY but I didnt really use it as much as I do now. In Florida, I started experiencing more issues with my asthma and so I got into the habit of using it more often...at least weekly. I have kept up with that here in Ga because its a new environment and I wasnt sure what I was going to be up against...especially with my own doctor saying welcome to the allergy capital of the south, along with a sears employee who was ever so grateful when I offered her some cough drops as it was clear she was having issues. Her statement was You know what its like dont you.. That lead to a nice conversation of how bad allergy season is here. Even the weather man here on one of the news channels (now I have to figure out which one it was) was suggesting that for folks with allergies this is the time to get into the allergists office for spring meds..Ive never seen that before and thought that was a pretty cool feature.Anyway..to get back on topic...last month I was averaging 590 for my peak flows...even getting a 610 a few times. Those are my best numbers so far. Last week the trees started blooming...and the peak flows dropped! I now am back to my old normals of 500-550, still in my green zone but its amazing how much the pollen effected me. I never knew it was that much. No womder my peak flows jumped up when we moved to Ga in winter and there was little to no pollen. Im actually excited by this discovery b/c I have learned something new about myself and can arm myself with the tools to keep things under control. Ann A Good Credit Score is 700 or Above.
