Guest guest
Today, after classes, I went with the math and computer science club to pick apples. It was fun because I got to climb in the tree and shake the branches to make the apples fall down. I also got to feed some apples to the horses. I'm sore all over now and cut my hand on a tree branch but it was still fun and now I have a giant box full of apples, maybe more than I will be able to eat. I made applesauce in the blender. It came out an interesting color of pink even though I peeled the apples first. It is more tart than applesauce you buy in the store but I think it's great and my pet rat went nuts over it when I offered him some. In the morning, I will put some back in the blender with a banana and make a smoothie. One funny thing happened. While we were gathering apples, someone said, " so who is going to bake something with apples this weekend? " Different people said they would make pies or cobbler or whatever. Then one person looked at me and said, " what will you make, Sparrow? " and I said, " applesauce. " They all acted really strange when I said that. I think they thought *I* was strange for wanting to make applesauce? What would be strange about that? It's very tasty applesauce. Guest guest
Hi Sparrow, It seems perfectly reasonable to make applesauce, I wonder why they acted strangely? It sounds like you had a lot of fun. A very good friend of mine has a bunch of rats as pets. She has taught me a lot about them that I never knew and never would have guessed. The stereotype against them is so strong, most things I’ve learned came as a complete surprise. They seem so very interesting and wonderful companions! Recently, she got a kitten and 2 baby rats at the same time. They all play together. It is funny seeing pictures of these mortal enemies cleaning each other and sleeping together and rolling around on the floor together. If these 3 can get along so well, it gives me hope for the rest of the world! Wendi apples Today, after classes, I went with the math and computer science club to pick apples.
