Guest guest Posted October 29, 2004 Report Share Posted October 29, 2004 Dear Niki, The hubby had a root canal yesterday and is Now taking amoxicillin (for a week). His dentist said a tooth infection such as he had could very likely throw off blood tests for C reactive Protein, so he suggested he wait a while to be tested. Smaller, but more bumps? I wonder if we have a set amount of immune cell clusters and they have to be expressed either as one biggie or several smaller ones. I wonder if activity/exercise moves them around? Humm? Guest guest Posted October 29, 2004 Report Share Posted October 29, 2004 Niki, Oh, I know a lot of people on MTX for arthritis and I know there are some side effects. Are you taking NSAIDS along with the MTX. I am interested in your therapy, because of the PA (psoriatic arthritis) I have MTX is the next drug if the Plaquenil doesn't help. Do you think the MTX helps? I think the Voltaren and Plaquenil (for PA) has greatly helped my last flare of EN. Imagine that... Guest guest Posted November 1, 2004 Report Share Posted November 1, 2004 Good morning Sandy, I am taking my 4th dose of MTX today. The first 3 weeks were fine, I felt great. I started an outbreak last Monday, it has gotten worse everyday since. I am not taking any NSAIDS. Naproxen and Plaquenil did absolutely nothing for me. I have never taken Voltaren.
