Guest guest
I have one week to find something with evidance to help our friend. She is going to have her gallbladder removed. She has been having dry heaves every day and her upper back hurts. After the dry heaves she feels better then she is ready to eat... she has lost 5 lbs and didn't have any to spare. I think she weighs about 105 or so. She is in her 50's diagnosed with Celiac Disease and fas been very very careful, doesn't eat any artifical colors, preservatives or flavorings, has their own eggs (but on commercial feed no antibiotics) but she says they bother her...so she only cooks with them doesn't eat them alone. They have their own milk goat...but they feed it soy based feed and hay...to my knowledge not on grass or much she doesn't drink it any more that gives her problems...a lot of their food is organic. she buys butter but doesn't use it much, that bothers her too. With the CD she has brown rice flour, potatoe starch, and tapioca flour for her bread products. They have the ploy of soy and do not use soy for themselves but still for the animals. I am flustered on how to approach this. They showed us by example their life style on how to eat and then we expanded from there. They didn't persue any further, I think they are tired of the mistaches they made with other diets. They do use homiopaths(SP?) and herbs, no drugs..antibiotics any more. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT. I know your not MD's. I WILL BE CHECKING DAILY. THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME. Barb and Mike
