Guest guest
, I agree with a. If we are talking superficial thrombophlebitis and your rheumatologist doesn't think it's the Enbrel itself but instead the act of injecting it and injuring a vein that caused your Mondor's, I wouldn't agree to the breast surgery either. I would also probably keep taking the Enbrel, but inject very carefully. What sort of imaging have they done of the inflamed area? Re: [ ] need opinions on this, thrombophlebitis and enbrel , Thrombophlebitis of DEEP veins is very dangerous and can cause a stroke, but the superficial thrombophlebitis doesn't have that risk. If your rheumy says that you can take the Enbrel, he must believe that it won't cause a problem. From what I have read, I completely agree with your rheumy to NOT have the surgery since this problem can resolve on it's own. But of course that is me. Good luck with your decision. Remember that your medical care is ultimately YOUR decision. Doctors can suggest and advise, but it's you that has to make the final decision. In your past posts, you¹ve also expressed that you don¹t want this surgery. It may be wise to follow your instincts and give this some time to resolve itself. a > > As you know , i was diagnosed with Mondor's disease, a superficial > thrombophlebitis of the breast.
