Guest guest
If anyone should decide to use a silicone based product, I would strongly urge them to seek someone with training in dermatology or cosmetic surgery. If your HIV specialist decides to do this, I would decline the kindness. I totally agree with JB. When I refer to physicians I only mean well trained cosmetic surgeons who are either dermatologists, plastic surgeons or ENT surgeons and they should be trained in the microdroplet technique. No one else knows the intricacies of the facial muscles, fat and skin, including veins and arteries. I also think this applies to all products proposed for treatment of facial wasting. You must have it done by a doctor who knows what he is doing and specializes in that field. Anything other than that could only cause you problems,to some degree with a temporary filler but especially with a permanent filler. Guest guest
Silicone is permanent, and if someone without experience in facial esthetics makes you look like a Tex Avery character, you will be stuck with it for life. JB JB: I tend to disagree with this statement since I have seen two people get silicone liposuctioned out of their faces by a doctor is LA. I can provide the doctor's name and address (I think posted it in communityzero.com/facialwasting)

As you know, some people inject too much volume at once which can cause problems compared to using small volumes over several injections. In a case like this, it's possible to locate a large silicone bubble and extract some of it. This , however, is no substitute for doing it right the first time.
