Guest guest
Breakfast: in memoriam I pour you a cup of fragrance: coffee my hand rests on the bony warmth of your shoulder through the clean blue of your shirt. The sun glances off the glisten of your hair as you talk, casual about something with someone - male voices rumbling. That touch in common day flushes me proud knowing secrets: other touches tendered - your whispered voice at night. The light shines up through green apples bananas and rosy grapes from the sun's bowl centered on the warm square of wood. That instant flooded suddenly a great radiance lit from within with the Life of life a pellucid presence afar! Whose voice in the silence taught me? Share this moment with the god in your heart to keep it forever: the warm shoulder, the blue shirt - all that you were, my love you are. a.o.howell Alice O. Guest guest
Beautiful Alice. I'm sure Walter is smiling as you write these words. Guest guest
Dear Alice: All my life I searched for the love you have with Walter -- I always felt warmly about your luck in finding him and having him for so long. Though, it took a lot of work and mine is more green than blue -- I now know what you are talking about, because I met him within myself first. I even painted him before I met him -- so when Bob and I met two years ago, it was and is very easy to be with him and even better now that we are living together and can share that fragrant cup of coffee in a sunlit kitchen. I have the videos of SCIENCE OF THE SOUL on my bookshelf which I got by some happenstance. Now that I've finished watching the Sister tapes, I really want to take a look at the Edinger tapes. Feeling my depression lifting following my mother's passing last November, so I've been quiet on the list. I am getting out into the park for long snowy walks which are very medicinal. Reading biographies is a comfort too. blessings to you, Alice. in the dance, Frances

Guest guest
Alice, Thank you so much. It is beautiful, and echoes another poem you wrote about him -- was it called " Matins " ? I know it contained pink hollyhocks! Marilyn BTW, I've been unable to access the InnerCity site for days, including through the url Daryl Sharp sent (I e-mailed him to say so). I finally ordered it from Amazon, where it is in stock and available immediately.
