Guest guest
Hi Bonnie: You can't always go by numbers, but also have to include how your body feels on that dosage. For example, my TSH was 9.02 in December, '07. My synthroid was upped from 75 mcgs to 100mcgs and as of last week, my TSH is 2.44. So it has brought my numbers down. This happened to me once before and then I started to get the racing heartbeat at night so my endo had me take only 1/2 a pill on Sundays. But I have been on 75mcgs, 87mcgs and now 100. It fluctuates back and forth. In my opinion if you are getting the racing heart, 100 mcgs every day is too much. I hope this helps. Maybe someone else can advise you further.
