Guest guest
Hi all I have hashi's and I am mildly hypo. I also have aadrenal fatigue and I take cortef (10 mg) for that as well as other supp.s. I have been on cytomel for years now but my T4 is low so my doc is switching me to armour and levoxyl instead. I tried to switch to these meds but found that the higher I went on armour, the more hypo symptoms I got. I can now only tolerate a grain of armour and 1 levo pill in addition to 15 mcg of cytomel. When I try to raise I just don't feel very good, tired, puffy, etc. My doc is going to test me for reverse T3, but until that time, I am wonder why is this happening? Has anyone else had an experience like this? It is strange that the more T4 or I take the more hypo I feel.
