Guest guest
No. I know that when I go through the picture dictionary, we show yellow mucus and say that is most associated with an infection or irritation. Cervical inflammation, cervicitis, cervical ecruption, cervical erosion… I do know that it can be a sign of infection as well. Since childbirth or surgery can irritate the cervix, this does occurs in such cases. This is often confused with mucus that occurs around the time of ovulation. The Creighton Model does have the ability to work with clients that fall into this category and to help them to easily identify the mucus that is associated with ovulation. If you have a Creighton Model practitioner near you, perhaps she/he can work with you to help your client. s, FCP From: Guthmann Sent: Wednesday, October 27, 2004 11:11 PM To: nfpprofessionals Subject: uterine discharge Has anyone ever heard of the uterus (not cervix) excreting a stretchy, cloudy, possibly yellow mucus discharge due to low-grade infection? Maybe following childbirth or uterine surgery? Something that would be confused with fertile cervical mucus. Kim
Guest guest
Check doctor Hilger's book. This summer at the conference he talked a lot about pre-term labor and mentioned something about a chronic wet discharge being a possible sign of low grade infection. That's not the same as mucus, but check his book, if you have it, and see what it says.
