Guest guest
hi i have erythema nodsum an have had it now for 2 yrs, getting a bit feed up as it limits what i can do when in pain. i couldn't help noticing you saying your are getting over it but have ra wots this? please write back vicki x Dear Vicki, Getting over it? Well I don't know what post you are referring to but I must have either been talking about a flare-up or the fact that I don't get it as severly as before. I don't have as much pain as I used to if that is what you mean. I have had it for 35 years now...not steadily but in and out of remission. The early flare-ups were the worse for me. I think my skin is stretched from swelling so much, and that is my guess as to why it isn't as painful. Been using an anti-embolism stocking and that is helping too. Luckly I only get it in one leg. Let us know if you have any related disorders ( like crohn's or sarcoidosis) as that may contribute to the EN--also have you been tested for all the " usual suspects " ( like strep infection) and do you take any form of birth conrol--either pills or depo shots? Look at our Links>>erythema nodosum for all the things that can cause it. We have loads of info on this site. Love,
