Hi Everyone!

I’m was behind again, but have just finished catching up. My replies are

below as usual. I had a very busy weekend and managed to finish my Christmas

shopping which is a big relief and this has been a busy week so far. We had

a business dinner last night, tomorrow is Jules company end of year party

and mine is on Friday night – so it’s a bit… pheeeeew!

We went for our 3rd echography yesterday morning! It was so adorable and

much more interesting that the last time because the tadpole has become a

little monkey! We saw the head (he/she?? (arrgghh I’m just going to say

“he” for this e-mail lol!)looks just like a little Alien! – but a very cute

one!) We also saw the whole body, arms, hands, legs, feet and he was moving

around like a little boxer kicking and punching – really cute.

Everything is normal and well, I’m going to do a blood test (duh?? Feotal

bla bla something??) in January that checks my blood to see if there are any

chromosomal or neurological problems, just a routine thing but poor Jules

looked a bit nervous when the doc was talking about it. I’m 10 wks and 6

days today but in all the excitement forgot to ask how big he was :-(. I’m

fine, still no morning sickness! Hooray to that! Still really tired and

having the worst mood swings ever - I’m a bit batty at the moment (Poor

Jules!)

I’m so behind in my Christmas preparations, I’ve got the pressies done but

still have to wrap them, get my tree, send my cards (sorry everyone, they

are going to be very late!) and decorate the house and prepare for dinner at

our house on Christmas eve. Plus my colleague at work will be on leave for

a month so I will have to look after two departments – this is going to be a

mad end of year but I’m trying to organize to not overdo it – my little

monkey is worth far too much to me and his needs come first.

I’m sending you all (((((((((((((Giant Hugs)))))))))))))))

Bravo!!! \o/\o/\o/\o/\o/\o/\o/\o/\o/\o/

You are such a shiny star! I’m so proud of you! You are making such a

gigantic effort to be healthier it just has to have some positive

repercussions soon.

Sorry your joints are swollen and that the Remicade is wearing off more

quickly. Hopefully they can find a way to help you cope after your surgery.

Oh Yum! I love Lasagne, and Meatballs with mashed potatoes mmm mmm mmm– the

cheese gravy sounds too divine! If your recipe isn’t a top family secret

(I’ll definitely understand if it is! :-) I’d love the meatball and cheese

gravy recipe. You’re making me peckish, I’d better go and raid my snack

store!

Enjoy your visit with your friend.

Hugs,

Heidi

Kathy,

I’m so sorry about your car, diabetes and your snow blower. You must be

relieved now that you’ve signed the termination agreement – I’m sorry it

didn’t end in your favor but am really happy that stress is now out of your

life.

Enjoy your stay with your parents I’m so glad they are spoiling you, you

deserve it.

Hugs,

Heidi

Hi Sheri,

Sorry you are feeling so overwhelmed at the moment. Don’t feel guilty about

the cards, I haven’t managed to do mine yet either – so they will be joint

Christmas/Easter cards lol! I really believe that it’s the thought that

counts when it comes to these things so please don’t stress. Look after

yourself before worrying about all that stuff.

Hugs,

Heidi

(((((((((((Joan))))))))))))

I lost my mother when I was 18 years old but it seems like yesterday – I

think it’s a loss you never really get over. Thank you so much, that was

beautiful. I had tears in my eyes.

Subject: Bad scare

Oh ((((((((((((((((((Susie))))))))))))))))))

I’m so sorry you had such a terrible experience; you must have been so

scared.

I don’t really know what to say about your IV as I’ve never had one but

wanted to let you know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

As for the Ra! Ra! Ra! I think you hit that right on the head!

Hugs,

Heidi

P.S. The “Bird Balls” were a classis lol!

That was really sweet Tess.

Hi Judy,

Thanks so much for letting us know how Debs and her family are doing. They

remain in my prayers.

Hugs,

Heidi

Grrrrrrrrrrr I’m so sorry you had to put up with such a Bozo Kathi –

Arrrgggghhh I’d love to DUNK that one! What a wally!

It must have been so frustrating for you to deal with such an idiot but I’m

so glad that your regular PCP is taking this seriously and is on your side.

I haven’t got any echography pictures yet – we do have a video but my doc’s

picture thingy is having a problem, which is quiet a bummer. Hopefully

next time I go.

I had such a laugh at your earlier “angel kisses” post. I’ve got strawberry

blonde hair (so lots of the red head in me too!) and loads of freckles – my

brothers used to call them “fly sh%t” – I think your “angel kisses” are a

major improvement on that lol! I’ve kind of grown into them and they aren’t

that noticeable anymore – unless I go into the sun and then its… Ching!

Lights on!

I’m still praying for that Enbrel miracle my friend!

Hi a!

I’m so sorry you are still having those awful headaches. How are you

copping with that now, it’s a bad time of the year to be feeling headachy.

Heidi

Subject: haven't read much lately

Hi Stacey,

Sorry you are having so much trouble with your eyes. Is your back feeling a

little better? I had to laugh “better late than never” is my motto at this

time of the year – I haven’t had the time to sit down and write my cards

either so they will be late – but the thought is there and they will get to

those I’m thinking of at Christmas either way!

((((((((((((Hugs)))))))))))) to you and Wyatt,

Heidi

Hi Iris,

I’ve been thinking about you lately, have you heard anything about that job?

I was reading your posts about your daughter lately, try not to panic too

much. I was very naughty at her age and snuck out and skipped school with

the best(worst) of them, I smoked at school and was a regular little rebel

(really harmless stuff most of the time though – I never did any drugs or

anything like that). Anyway I grew out of that phase pretty quickly once I

left home and went to study and am now a responsible adult with a normal

stable life, hubby and job. Some of my old teachers can’t believe it when

they meet me now that I’m so NORMAL lol! Some kids just rebel more than

others, they give in easier to peer pressure and want to be “cool”. I know

that you have to curtail her behavior and it’s good that she knows her

boundaries – my Dad was very strict but honestly most of my escapades were

very much behind his back, he didn’t have a clue. I just wanted to let you

know it doesn’t mean she’ll become a delinquent later on and that it is

probably just a phase she’s going through. I do love the wind chime idea

though that someone here suggested, I’m going to remember that one in a few

years time because if my kids are like me I’ll probably be clueless too lol!

Hey Carol!

Well this is a late one!

I had to tell you that I just LOVE Ferro Rocher chocolates! Yum! I’ve

always had a sweet tooth but at the moment it’s really intense, I think this

little baby like chocolate already lol! I’m trying not to totally

exaggerate as I don’t want to give him/her? too much caffine and I don’t

want to turn into a chocolate ball lol!

I definitely won’t try to be like Martha THIS year – poor silly girl

lol!

Hope you are having a super time with your family, and are feeling a little

better after yesterday.

((((((((((((Hugs)))))))))))))) and lots of love,

Heidi
