Guest guest
Nola, Sounds like you really are full of this dam flu, Are u taking echinacea to try & get rid of it faster? & vit C. 1st sign of a sniffle I take them & a cold & Flu tablet. Its our winter in June, so I shld have had my flu needle. I have to organise it soon. Hope you get better real soon. Its a shame you got it right when you needed to go for an interview. If they are decent people they will understand & wait for you to get better.

I said " oh it doesnt work anyways " Well now we know it does LOL Thanks for all your help and yes I do hope they understand. Had to do some work online and now I am off to bed with this fever. Guest guest
Nola, My husband uses echinacea and swears by it. I can't seem to take it as I get sores around my mouth. I was told I was allergic to it. It does work for him though. Guest guest
Nola- Sorry to hear that the flu bug caught you. Because it is a virus, there is not much that can be done, except for relieving the actual symptoms. Take a fever reducer of your choice (aspirin, acetominophen or ibuprofen), flush out your system with either water or even gatorade (easier to go down!) and get lots of sleep (to heal your body). As far as the Puffs issue, there is always that tissue with the aloe and lotion. I hate that stuff normally, but it does help a bit when you have to wipe your nose 3 bizillion times a day! Get better soon! Charlene -- Re: Any cures for this illness? Susie, I know it's going around but man do I feel horrible! I had a job interview today that I had to reschedule because of all of this. Guest guest
Awwww Charlene! Your a doll, thanks!!! I know, this is a terrible bug. I told my daughter that in all of my years I haven't had a cold this bad EVER! Its awful and I cannot believe its taken me down like this. Thanks for acknowledging anyways, I kind of figured that I would have to air this flu out. Although, this afternoon I started to feel somewhat better, but now again I am starting to drag down. I think old age is finally catching up here. I must stand tall and battle my way through, it will not get ME! LOL Well I tried.....take care and please dont get this thing (flu). Thanks again....Nola If you had an hour to live and could make only one phone call--who would you call, what would you say, and why are you waiting?
