Guest guest
I have more contact with the NFT, they are more liberal on what expenses are considered as eligible for the release of funds. I frequently get calls from fund managers to assist them in setting fundraiser goals. The NTAF, I am told, is more strict. I have had limited experience with this program. Fundraising question Hi Folks, Can people give me their opinion/experience with either/both The National Transplant Assistance Fund and The National Foundation for Transplants for fundraising. Guest guest
Carol Vanucci with the National Transplant Foundation is great to work with. She is very helpful to patients as they try to come up with fund raising ideas. Our heart trnasplant patients and some renal patients have raised a good deal of money using this group. I give all of my patient's their brochure. Kidney patients and possibly liver patients (i.e. live donor) could find this group very useful. If my patients have enough insurance for the transplant they use the fund raising for their live donor expenses, i.e. lost wages if the donor's job will not give them paid time off. This helps when the donor says they can not afford to miss time from work as they will not get paid. Guest guest
Great idea. Thank you all for your assistance. I was leaning more towards that foundation but wanted to get a consensus. Thank you.... Pat -----Original Message-----From: BEVERLY A.
