Guest guest
was that your hashi score? if so, you need treatment. mine was the same. high uptake on the iodine scan and normal/low labs. they just treated me as hypo. then, 11 yrs later i test for hashi. you need to find a dr that can support you and be mindful of the correct levels your body needs to be at to work properly. now, i didnt have much sypmtoms at that time. just increase in appetite/wt gain, fatigue, hot/cold sweats. but it was enough to test the regular thyroid stuff. wish they had tested for hashi then. bet ya i had it then too. good luck and let m eknow what happens. julie > Dear Friends! > > I just can't understand why there are so many of us out here with antibody levels that are ridiculously high....mine are 1580 at my last test and doctors won't treat. Because my TSH tests in normal ranges (although they are actually more on the hyper side of normal - I can find no endocrinologist (out of 3 so far) that will treat me in any way shape or form. > > My symptoms were all triggered by a pregnancy 3 years ago and I have been suffering ever since. I even was treated with Synthroid for a year in 92 and 95 for Post Partum thyroiditis after 2 previous pregnancies. > > I have a clear cut family and personal history of thyroid problems, and a multi-nodular goiter, besides the extremely high antibodies and almost every sypmtoms you can list! > > They all say - my thyroiditis should only cause a bit of fatigue - not the extreme fatigue and pain that I feel constantly. I thought the constant low grade fever I started to develop almost a year ago would make them do something and they just keep looking for other causes (cancer, infections...) for that. > > I have both HYPO and HYPER symptoms and need help!!!!!!!! > Does anyone have suggestions? Thanks! > > Kate > carla....Re: SOS > > > if you find something to diagnose your muscle aches/back...let me > know. i've had them for years and nothing is showing up. but my tests for hashi was outragious. 907 on a scale from 0-34. > > julie
