Hi and others,

Yes, while I have a birthmark on my lower abdomen (that is also fading), the Dark brown spot on my leg about 1"x11/2 " is something that has developed over time and has become very ominous the last five years...I've had basal cell cancers (about 5 spots) removed in the past 10 years.. but have not had ANY in five years since I added omega 3 oils and eliminated hydrogenated oils..(see the paragraph & studies BELOW that I took from an old post about the sun and benefits of fish oils..).

No doctor could tell me what the dark brown spots were but I suspect they were from toxins...

since--I used Ritalin and Prozac and other meds for over 10 years..and had a poor immune system I was always getting sick.

And YES, to your other question, The LW Glutathione skin patch Study also showed a "very rapid excretion of heavy metals such as mercury from the urine of 30 -100%.. after using the patch during the week of testing..

..and NOW I can see normal skin color emerging through this spot in about 1/4 of the area so far... Other parts are fading, and still other parts look like tiny white dots are emerging through it...(normal skin tone) Other areas look like a "Glut.Pac Man" is eating it.... I'm going to try to get a better camera to capture it through the months. I'm hoping it will be gone within a year! I was always more prone than others to get "age"spots on my legs and elsewhere even as a teen & upwards... but Tell your daughter not to be dismayed--- ( I actually won a "Miss Legs" contest in college -- but used some makeup on a bruised area of my leg..at the time). hee... Other freckle type age spots are also starting to fade over my body..

I have a history of a poor immune system ... but am Now healthier than I've ever been in my life with the regimen below my name.

The following is from an old post of mine:

I have a great reference for the multiple benefits of the sun. If you plug in -- "Sunlight Actually Prevents Cancer" at www.mercola.com you'll find excellent info. --Much stemming from the book The Healing Sun by Hobday.( Dr. Mercola has full spectrum light bulbs available as well as lamps, etc. as well as high quality supplements like omega 3 sources.

As an Adult with ADHD I have experienced SAD and find a full spectrum light beneficial in the winter months or on Cloudy days.) I've always been a sun-worshiper and when I -used to eat bad fats like Hydrogenated oils/transfats -- I developed some basal cell skin cancer spots... Now eating a better ratio

of 3-6-9 fats... I have not had skin cancer in 5 years!--- and I still get my sun..in the recommended amts from the above sites. ..

The following quote is from another article on Mercola's site..

"Epidemiological, experiental, and mechanistic data implicate omega -6 fat as stimulators and long -chain omega-3 fats as inhibitors of developmental and progression of a range of human cancers, including melanoma." --- (Therefore Omega 3's actually prevent cancer)!!!

This quote is on page 2 (--along with the medical source--_ of the article--"Learn Why the myth of the Sun Causing Skin Cancer Can Hurt Your Health"...
