Guest guest Posted October 4, 2007 Report Share Posted October 4, 2007 hi this joyce, i just had a cardiac ablation done two weeks ago. i wrote a while ago that i was thinking of haveing it done because of near fainting. my electrophyclogisist,( probally not spelled right) found the area and did and ablation. they locate the extra tissue that is abnormal then they use heat to burn it. it took about three hrs. i had wolf parkinson white. i went back and forth for four yrs unabale to decide wether to do it because i was to scared to. he knew of all the chiari in my family and still wanted to fix it. i can tel the difference, i feel beter. ive had few vision problems for a week after, like started out like wiggle spots that got bigger til i couldnt see and a headache, but it only lasted about half hr each time, so far i had it three times and i think it was from the changes to my system maybe. i thought id tel my experience that seems to be a good one. my kids made joke, said you dont think he fixed your brain too? not reffering to chiari. its late again too, bye for now, joyce Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
