Guest guest
I take 4 grains of ARmour - and love it....was diagnosed Hashimoto's/hypo in 2/2004. I also take HC (hydrocortisone) for hypo-adrenals. Sometimes adrenals need to be treated as well. here is more info on desiccated (dried) thyroid extract: http://www.altsupportthyroid.org/dt.php cindi > > Hi All! > > I have only ever been prescribed Synthroid for my Hypothyroidism. What other meds are out there that I should be aware of? As I stated yesterday, my labs are supposidly good, BUT my symptoms continue. Can someone tell me about Armour(sp?) and experiences with it? > > On a side note...I just want to say I thank God that I have found this group. I now feel like I have allies in this " fight " . I now don't feel like I'm the crazy one or all alone as I did before. > > Thank You! > >

I say that coming out of a time where I didn't have hope. I finally realized I was just waiting around for an endo to help me who didn't have what I needed. thanks to someone from another list, I found two thyroid lists and I am feeling somewhat better physically. There are solutions for most people, many of which mainstream docs are not familiar with. Glad you found us. -- Jamison Griebenow, skookie@... Guest guest
Both my Frees are pretty high in range...Free T3 has actually been over the 420 usual top end. but i am probably somewhat thyroid hormone resistant having been undiagnosed for 15+ years...and seem to need those higher Frees to keep hypo symptoms eliminated. My doctor totally ignores TSH, especially since I have TSH receptor antibodies too. Doc also checks that HC is proper dosing by doing ZRT saliva AM/PM testing. cindi >. > > > Cindi, if you don't mind, would you tell me what your labs look like now > that you are on the 4 grains?
