Guest guest
Hi, I'm new here.I'm a 28yr old guy in Indiana. I've been diagnosed as Hashimotoes 10 years ago.8 years ago, severe lower leg lymphoedema,6 years ago I had gastric bypass surgery. I weighed 870lbs,I'm down to 560 currently. My cholesterol, blood sugar, and blood pressure are all good,I'm had an ekg and chest x ray my doctor says my heart is fine.I take levothyroxin 127 So that's the background info.My question, need help with is I recently 3 weeks ago cut out bread, pasta, etc and restarted Atkins induction.I've cut out the wheat and carbs before and each time I get these periods throughout the day of while I'm calm,sitting/laying down I can really feel my heart beating strongly,I'm prone to anxiety so its a vicious circle, but I'm not stressed when these episodes happen. I've also had trouble getting to sleep ,after laying in bed for awhile the same heart beat feeling starts for no reason, wide awake. I tried cutting down on the levothyroxine with doctors approval it did help slightly with the pounding heart stuff, but I became so tired in my bones tired, did a blood test,I needed to go back to my previous dosage. If I eat bread with sandwiches, some other carbs, but no sugar.I don't notice these heart pounding symptoms, but I also don't gain or Lose any weight. So I'm kinda of like what gives. The doctor does'nt show interest in my symptoms,I'm with out insurance but in a sliding scale teaching hospital type program.Could this have something to do with my thyroid, adrenals? What can I do to stop it? I welcome your suggestions, wisdom, help. This is so stressful. Peace,
