THE CHOP-STICK,techniqu e of placing an foldable IOL..in the sulcus,in a big PCapsular rent..is one very nice technique..which is very encouraging.,taught in many medical schools round the world and in Hands-on-Wet labs..in many conferences. Hope,someday soon,I am able..to master..the technique..without dropping the IOL..in Vitreous cavity...!!For other non-ophthalmology readers,this article..and discussion.. was to Highlight... AANKH WALE Doctors..aajkal. .kya..kya kaam kar rahein..hain. ..From an 8-10mm..opening. .to remove cataracts..2 decades..ago. .to then moving on to 5-6mm...for ECCE..,now we have 1-2mm...as the norm,for removal of cataracts..and that too under TOPICAL Anaesthesias. ..,...and 3mm..spells. ..trouble these days!!Certainly. .all looks..well, , a Small Incision, by the surgeons..and an BIG LEAP..for better Visual Future...for everyone..Bye.
