Guest guest
Ann, It is obvious that there are two camps here, and obviously, people are very much divided as to what should/should not be discussed. I hate to think that people are leaving and although I do not feel we should be censored, I am also not comfortable with creating a situation which would force people to leave. The information here is just too vital. Is there are way that we could set up another site and leave this site to LBD specific information only (no dogs, cats, flowers or bad attitudes). I wouldn't know how to go about this but I think both arenas are equally important. Please contact me at Mon@... or monjohn210@... as to whether we could do this. Thank you, --- Pat Toguchi wrote: > When I initially joined this group, I found the > information, support and experiences to be > invaluable! Guest guest
Pat, I am sorry you are leaving. I think " cats and dogs and gardens " are ways some of us cope. What I do if I find things aren't relevant to me, I do delete and presume it must be relevant to someone or they wouldn't be talking about it. If I can support someone, I do. If not, someone else can. That is the beauty of the diversity of the group. And while can tell you something about where he is, he is still functional. Not everyone is as functional. So he can tell you about his stage now and how he copes. And I believe if you want to read about how LBD or AD patients function, you can find a group where they are and learn lots. They have much in common with each other. I think our worlds are to far apart. I often wondered while was here, who was going to tell him when his notes no longer made sense and he didn't realize it. And that is going to happen. Donna A truly happy person is one who can enjoy the scenery.... on a detour. When I initially joined this group, I found the information, support and experiences to be invaluable! I didn't post often, but looked forward to learning from all of you. I believe was a vital member of this group and I'm truly disappointed that he left. We all wanted to understand what our loved ones were going through and to gather any information and/or learn the stages of LBD. . . was able AND willing to share his personal experiences with us. To be very blunt (and I'm sorry if I offend anyone), I am not interested in reading other posts about "dogs, cats, gardens, etc". I really joined this group to learn about LBD and how other caregivers coped with this dreadful disease. Thanks for all of your support in the past. . . I will be unsubscribing from this group. Take care Pat
