TC Surgery next week & having Insurance problem

Hello everyone

I was hoping someone could help & tell there expierince with this.

I have my TC surgery on the 16th & I thought everything was set,

then a couple of days ago I got a letter from my insurance saying

they would not pay for surgery because it is experimental. I called

& they said the doctor would have to handle it. So now I am waiting

for Dr.B to have a peer to peer interview with the doctor from my

insurance company. Has anyone else went thru this??? They have to

have it settled by next Tuesday the 9th. They will take me off the

surgery schedule if its not settled a week before my surgery. So I

was hoping someone here had went thru this & had a good outcome.
